welcome spring!

the sun is shining...and spring is FINALLY here! we meet our friend ruthie, her sweet baby brother mcrae and their super amazing mom weekly for storytime at the library. with such great weather and VERY active kids we have decided to do a weekly activity. this week megan brought all the supplies for the kids to paint pots and plant some spring flowers. the kids LOVED it!

i was not fast enough to get any pictures of them painting but here they are after painting the seeds...

my little helpers.

max wakes up each morning and asks me..."mommy, what are we doing today?" and each night before bed he says...."mommy, i want to stay up and do what you do at night. i will help you with everything." he is the CUTEST!

i really wanted him to have some responsibility in the house and earn fun prizes for doing his part. i created a {new} chore chart for him to go through each night. he LOVES this! since kate is his little mimic i decided to create one for her too! along with the chore charts i created a list of our daily routine. as much as they love schedules and routines this will really help me to stay on track throughout the day.
